Is Bogdan my enеmy? Does he want the best for me? What's he doing with my teeth? Is he taking them to Australia?

Very nice. I have been using open office and Libre Office for more then a decade, but lately the anti user stance the LO team is taking or comfortable in keeping up is draining me. I tried some only office and found some simple things were immediately better (UI scaling/general UX). Interesting to see where they both will land.

      What anti user stance?

      • Chee_Koala3

No UI scale slider and being ok with that. It's not enough options for my system. I get that they want Wayland to do everything for them, but it doesn't, so I need more. Their stance on this is: no. Same goes when asking for Excel functions. "THIS IS NOT EXCEL" seems to be their standard answer. The weird way they expect you to collaborate on documents. These are just some examples of the vibe they are ok projecting to users. It's their project, not mine, but it just feels like the users are a nuisance to the Libre Office dev team sometimes.

I thought it was just me and I misconfigured something, but I physically cannot read the menu options. I have my desktop scaled to 125% on Wayland but when I try to go to the dropdown options I'm just doomed. I have to pull out my phone and do the camera zoom trick to read it lol

Also for some reason I just can't create a good bar graph or table with sortable columns in not-Excel. They always turn out weird

Not a real fix, but: Ctrl+meta+scrollwheel is the standard zoom function shortcut for me on plasma kde. It's like the phone trick but faster!

You're a lifesaver; that's so helpful! No more squinting to read text :)

Don't put microslop's abuse onto open source devs

It's not excel. What functions are they missing and are they part of VBA or did Microslop add them to support their monopoly?

    Bug-dan Buzz-ea on QA? I don't think so.

More QA is nice, the bug that broke pivot tables in Calc recently made a lot of people unhappy. Would be nice if often used features were tested before release.
